North Idaho’s Priest River: A River in Need

HELPING TO RESTORE THE WATERSHED VIA COLD WATER
RESTORATION
backed by science
who we are
We are a collective of individuals who are committed to restoring the Priest River to it's historic cold water habitat. We promote the science and scientific literature that has been conducted on the Priest River, Priest Lake and similar bodies of water around the country.

We recognize that the natural habitat is no longer thriving due to a lack of cold water flowing into the river, mainly due to the type, location and presence of the dam built for the sole purpose of recreational lake levels.
We are not a group who ignores the overwhelming amount of science supporting the cold water bypass and how essential it is for the watershed.

We do not have a donation button on our website and believe we can support our efforts without the hard earned money of our community.
We do not spread false information about opposing viewpoints in attempt to gain support of our cause.

We do not believe the Priest River will recover if just do nothing. Something needs to happen and it needs to happen now.
